Additional October update for Pixel
An approximately 30MB update is ready for Google Pixel series devices. An official changelog with the changes seems to be out. There are also no new features for users to find, so not even the new Pixel features that surfaced recently, such as theme packs. It is all about the necessary improvements in the background. The text of the update states that the update fixes critical and improves the performance and stability of the device.
Presumably, the bugs were so persistent that the company did not want to wait until the November patch. For that reason, on your Pixel smartphone, you can download the update from now on. In most cases, the Pixel will download the update itself, and you will get a notification that this update is ready. You can then choose to install it automatically over the coming night, or to manually boot the device fixed.
Now that this extra October update has been made available, the November update may take a bit longer to arrive. Information from Google is lacking on this.
