Google Play system update April 2026: this is new

Google has issued a new Google Play system update for this month. The new April update makes several improvements to Google services and apps. We list the improvements.

Google Play update from April

As an Android owner, you are sure to get several updates and improvements. These come to your device through various avenues. This happens through Android version updates, as well as security updates. Then there is also a third kind of update: the Google Play system update. A new update has now been released and will be rolled out to various devices in the near future.

We've put down the changelog of the April update for you below. Keep in mind that it may take quite some time until the update is available for your device.
