WhatsApp on your Garmin
The WhatsApp app is free to download from the Connect IQ Store and works on a number of popular Garmin models. These include selected watches from the fēnix, Forerunner, Venu and vívoactive series. This makes it the first and only third-party chat app available on Garmin smartwatches.
The app lets you view recent conversations, reply to messages via the built-in keyboard and quickly send emojis or replies. Up to 10 messages per call are displayed on the screen. In addition, you can see incoming calls and reject them if necessary. Messages and calls remain just end-to-end encrypted, just like you are used to from WhatsApp.
The WhatsApp app for Garmin smartwatches can be downloaded for free from the Connect IQ Store. You do need a paired iPhone or Android smartphone on which the WhatsApp app is installed.
