Android 17 Beta 3
Android 17 is in a testing phase, and we have now arrived at a new update for it. Users participating in the beta programme can download the update to Android 17 Beta 3. This update is considered a 'platform stability update', meaning it should be pretty much stable before the final version appears. It does advise against using beta versions on a device that you use as your main device.

In Android 17 Beta 3, Google has worked on several refinements and improvements. First of all, the update includes the March security patch. There is also support for the RAW14 image format. On the home screen, you can now choose to hide (or show) app names and there are more detailed audio settings when combined with a hearing aid. The third beta also includes a revamped screen capture toolbar and improved widget scaling for on large screens. Google has further worked on optimisations in the areas of privacy and security.

The update is being distributed to Pixel devices as of now, starting with the Pixel 6 and newer.
