Xiaomi shows off new products
It's a busy weekend ahead of Mobile World Congress. After all, Xiaomi has already announced the Xiaomi 17 series, but is also coming out with the new Pad 8 tablets. The manufacturer then also has other products, in the form of, say, a tag, electric scooter, smartwatch and more. The new AIoT products, as Xiaomi itself calls them, were shown in Barcelona today.

Electric Scooter 6
The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 series gives you a choice of five models: from the Lite to the Ultra. They are designed for everyday use in the city. The top model, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Ultra, offers peak power of 1200W, a range of up to 75 kilometres and fast charging that adds up to 30 kilometres of range in an hour. Large 12-inch tyres, dual suspension and various braking and safety systems should ensure a stable ride. Via the Xiaomi Home app and Apple Find My, you can also pair the scooter for added convenience. Incidentally, the scooters are not approved for use on Dutch roads.

Xiaomi Watch 5
The Xiaomi Watch 5 runs on Google's Wear OS 6 and gives you direct access to apps like Google Maps, Google Calendar and Google Wallet for contactless payments. It is the first Xiaomi watch with direct support for Google Gemini. Various hand and wrist gestures let you reject calls, silence alarms or control apps without reaching for your phone. The battery lasts up to six days in smart mode or up to 18 days in power saving mode. The watch has a stainless steel case, sapphire crystal and comprehensive health and fitness tracking. With this watch, Xiaomi will compete with the Pixel Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 8.
