Xiaomi 15T (Pro) with HyperOS 3
A major update is rolling out to the Xiaomi 15T and the Xiaomi 15T Pro. The new models were announced in Munich last month. DroidApp was present at the announcement and recently published the comprehensive Xiaomi 15T Pro review. The smartphone has almost no drawbacks, is very interestingly priced and showed good results. One point of criticism was the Android version the device came with. After all, Android 16 had been out for a while; and that same announcement day, HyperOS 3 was announced. However, we did not see this version on the two models. But now Xiaomi has started updating the 15T and 15T Pro.
The update to Android 16 is combined with HyperOS 3 and brings several improvements to the Xiaomi models. Among other things, you can unlock two HyperOS 3 devices simultaneously with one device, there are innovations in the interface and much-needed improvements in AI. There are new lock screens with cinematic wallpapers that give you more options to personalise. There is also the Xiaomi HyperIsland, which is similar to Apple and OnePlus' feature. Through a bubble at the top of the screen, you can follow live activities.
Android 16 with HyperOS 3 is being rolled out in phases for the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. So it may take some time until all users get the update. You will get a notification when it is available for download for your device.
