Xiaomi 15T leaks out: these are the specs

Next week, we will get the official announcement of the Xiaomi 15T series. The Xiaomi 15T has now surfaced in the rumour circuit. Specifications of the new smartphone are thus on the street.

Xiaomi 15T reveals itself

The new Xiaomi 15T has already unveiled itself. The new smartphone will be announced as part of the Xiaomi 15T series on 24 August, in the German city of Munich. A leaked photo shows the screen foil, which also highlights the smartphone's key specifications. Xiaomi's T models should offer a good combination of price and performance.

The smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra, the same chipset found in the Poco X7 Pro. What else immediately stands out is the 6.83-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. That's a clear step up from the 6.67-inch of both the Poco X7 Pro and the previous Xiaomi 14T.

Battery and camera

The 5500 mAh battery is 500 mAh larger than that of the 14T. Charging can be done with 67W fast charging, which is more than enough to make the phone usable again in a short time. Compared to some Poco models, the battery is slightly smaller though. While there are no confirmed details about the sensors yet, it is clear that Xiaomi is once again opting for Leica Summilux lenses. With this, the brand seems to be continuing its collaboration with Leica.

15T Pro coming soon

Besides this model, an Xiaomi 15T Pro will also appear. Data in the Geekbench database shows that this device runs on the Dimensity 9400+, the same powerful chip used in the Redmi K80 Ultra. With this, Xiaomi is positioning the Pro version closer to the high-end market.

The official launch is scheduled for September 24, 2025. DroidApp will keep you updated on this.
