Other group chats in WhatsApp
WhatsApp will add an option to its chat app, allowing users of other chat apps to participate in group chats. It follows amended European Union regulations. The DMA legislation requires large (online) platforms to make their service work with other services without restrictions.
Users will be able to share in chats, not only chats via other apps, but also sending photos, videos, voice messages and documents are among the possibilities. According to Wabetainfo , the ability to send stickers via this, or send messages that disappear within a certain time, is missing.
When the feature is available, you can choose to make a one-to-one conversation with a user in another messaging service. You can also choose to create a group chat, from which precisely users from other apps can participate.
