Sony Xperia 10 VII in the spotlight
The new Sony Xperia 10 VII is all but revealed by a Japanese source. The phone will be available alongside the previously introduced high-end Sony Xperia 1 VII. When the smartphone will be announced is not yet clear. What is certain is that the brand has been working on a new design, with a new camera module. We briefly got 'Pixel vibes' upon seeing the new camera bar, in which the Sony logo is printed. This is different from its predecessor, the Xperia 10 VI.

Thanks to a mention of an online shop, we immediately find out the specifications. Sony ships the Xperia 10 VII with Android 15 and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. We previously saw this chipset in the Galaxy A36, for example. The smartphone comes with 8GB of working memory and offers 128GB of storage. Sony maintains the option to expand the memory. You can do this with a memory card of up to 2TB.
On the front of the Sony Xperia 10 VII is a 6.1-inch OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution. Whether Sony is sticking to the rather large screen bezels, that's not entirely clear. In fact, we don't get to see the front of the phone yet. In any case, the device features an 8-megapixel front camera. On the back is a 50-megapixel main camera, along with a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens. Sony is placing a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone gets dimensions 153 x 72 x 8.3 millimetres and a weight of 169 grams.

The new smartphone will be available in three colours. You can choose from black, white and turquoise. As soon as there is more information on an announcement date, we will of course keep you updated.
