Google Photos on your Samsung TV
Samsung has announced that it is adding support for Google Photos to Samsung televisions. The functionality, which will be rolled out from March 2026, consists of three features. For the integration, you need to log in with your Google account. You can choose different slideshows on the television screen, of places and people, for example. Because of this, it seems that you cannot select which photos are shown yourself.

One of the features is Memories: these memories are created based on people, locations and meaningful moments. The second feature to be rolled out later in 2026 is Create with AI. These are thematic templates created with Nano Banana. Through Remix, you can change the artistic style of a photo, or just bring a photo to life in a video. The third feature is the display of personalised results. You can then use related photos as slideshows. The exact difference between Memories and the latter feature is not entirely clear.
Samsung does not reveal which televisions will get the Google Photos support. In these, the functionality will become available through an update. Samsung TVs launched in 2026 will already come with the pairing as standard from the factory.
