Samsung launches One UI 8.5 beta programme full of new features

Samsung has announced a new software skin: One UI 8.5. This new version brings several new features, which should help create, connect and security. What are the new features that can be used?

One UI 8.5 Beta launched

Samsung has started the beta programme of One UI 8.5. The new software version brings improved productivity, privacy and performance. First of all, you get the improved Photo Assist, which allows you to permanently edit photos without having to save each edit in between. Furthermore, Samsung promises that sharing photos will be smoother with Quick Share. Using AI, it will recognise who is in the photos and then you can send them directly to these contacts.

One UI 8.5 also brings Audio Broadcast, which makes it easy to set up communication with LE Audio-enabled devices using Auracast. Besides audio from media sources, users can also use the microphone for a tour or event, for example. With Storage Share, it is made even smoother to scroll through files from other Galaxy devices. Further work has been done on security improvements.

Recently, the entire One UI 8.5 changelog was released with all the features that are new. Because there are many more new features in One UI 8.5.

Availability

The new software will be made available for the Galaxy S25 series from now on. This applies to users in Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom and the UnitedStates. When the update will be released in other countries, such as the Netherlands and Belgium, is not known.
