Arrival of Galaxy S26 Edge uncertain

New reporting from South Korean NewsPim suggests that Samsung may have cancelled the Galaxy S26 Edge. According to multiple reports, the arrival of the phone has been cancelled due to low sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge. According to the quoted source, Samsung plans to discontinue the Edge series completely, once the stock of the Galaxy S25 Edge is sold out.

An anonymous Samsung official has been quoted as saying the following;

I'm not sure if the slim line (i.e. Edge line) will ever return, but as of now, it seems unlikely. It's practically gone.

While the future for the Edge series is uncertain, it is suggested that development of the Galaxy S26 Edge has already been completed. As a result, it may well be that the device will still come out in the future, but it will not be part of the Edge series.
