More Samsung devices get update
December's security update is already available for a range of devices by now, with more devices to come, we hear from Han and others. The new security patch, which is combined with Samsung' s own patches, brings several improvements to Android's security and certain Samsung (software) issues.
As of now, the update is being rolled out to ten devices. Thus, the update is now available for download for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy S23 series. This also includes the Galaxy S23 FE immediately. The update is also available for the Samsung Galaxy A53 and two foldables. We list below, which devices have been allowed to receive the update.
