Samsung Galaxy A57 in pictures
In recent weeks, reports about new Samsung devices have been flying around your ears. Sometimes it's about a new foldable, other times about the Galaxy S26 series. Other times, the Galaxy A models pop up again. The latter is the case now, as we get to see images of the new Samsung Galaxy A57. The new mid-end device will succeed the current Galaxy A56. Thanks to inspection body TENAA, we see the device from all sides.
What immediately stands out is that the device seems to be very thin. The thickness is said to come out at 6.9 millimetres, potentially making the device as thick as the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. The smartphone manufacturer is sticking to the Key Island, on the right side of the smartphone. This is where the phone's power button and volume key are located.
With the Samsung Galaxy A57, the revamped camera module also stands out. It is a bit more prominent in the picture, with more of an island than before. The three cameras are placed vertically again, though, with the LED flash to the right of the island. Although the camera bump sticks out at the back, this appears to be less massive than on the upcoming S26 handsets. The Samsung Galaxy A37 is expected to have a similar design, although it will be slightly thicker.
The new Galaxy A57 will get an Exynos 1680 chipset, it was revealed recently when specifications were leaked. There, the size was also revealed, as was the camera setup and other details. We expect the announcement sometime in the coming weeks or months, but a date is not known. Last year's Galaxy A series was released on 2 March.
