Galaxy A37 and A57 in hands-on
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 and Samsung Galaxy A37 have surfaced in hands-on videos even before their official announcement. The news follows many other leaks in recent times. After all, the two models are not really a secret anymore. The footage was shared by a TikTok user from Thailand and gives a first look at both devices in practice.
Design, software and price
The videos give a good look at the smartphones and they look very similar to the previously leaked images. Both models have a glass and metal design and a triple camera setup at the back. It has also been confirmed that the two devices will run on One UI 8.5, based on Android 16, which would immediately bring a relatively new software version to the market. This is the same software as the Galaxy S26 series.
According to the same source, the Galaxy A57 will get two storage variants. The version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage would cost 17,999 Thai baht, which is roughly €554. The version with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage would cost 20,999 baht, roughly €646. The device would be available in lilac, navy blue and anthracite colours.
The Galaxy A37 seems to appear in one configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The price is said to be around 13,999 Thai baht, equivalent to about $430. This model is expected to come in Charcoal, Greygreen and Lavender colours.
Expected Galaxy A57 specifications
The Galaxy A57 is said to feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the bonnet would be an Exynos 1680 chipset, combined with 6, 8 or 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128 or 256GB.
On the camera front, a 50-megapixel main camera is expected, complemented by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera. Battery capacity is said to be 5000 mAh and support 45W fast charging.
Expected Galaxy A37 specifications
According to the leaked information, the Galaxy A37 will get a slightly larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display. This device will also have a triple camera on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera.
The device is said to run on the Exynos 1480 processor and also gets a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
It is still unknown when Samsung will officially announce the two devices. But with more and more information coming online, it seems that it won't be very long.
