Samsung Galaxy A17 spotted from all sides: this will be the new price fighter

Samsung has already managed to score well year in, year out with its Galaxy A models. These devices come in different segments and therefore with different prices. As a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A16, the Galaxy A17 is now on its way. The new device has been leaked from all sides now.

Android Headlines colleagues have shared images of the new Samsung Galaxy A17. The new device will succeed the current Galaxy A16. That device was released in the cheaper segment and you can score one for less than 130 euros now, for example. So a successor is now on the way and it will bear the unsurprising name Galaxy A17. The current A16 was announced in November, so it is quite possible that the A17 will also come around that month.

The Samsung Galaxy A17 will come with a similar design to the current model. We do see a slight change at the camera module; we see the black bar between the camera lenses. We also see a change at the front camera. On the new device, we see a clear drop, where on the A16 it looked slightly different.

In terms of specifications, some rumours are already being shared. Samsung reportedly wants the Galaxy A17 to feature the same size as the A16. This means a device measuring 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.9 millimetres. We expect an Exynos 1380 chipset, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a 5000 mAh battery with 25W. For photography, the device gets a 50-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

We will find out all the details in the coming months, when Samsung officially announces the device.
