Samsung Galaxy A07 presented with 6 years of updates

The new Samsung Galaxy A07 has been announced in the first countries. The entry-level smartphone comes with a generous update policy, as you get six years of Android updates. Samsung has even more in store with this new Galaxy A07.

Samsung Galaxy A07 is official

A successor to the Samsung Galaxy A06 has been announced by Samsung. It seems to be first for Indonesia and Ukraine. We expect the device in other European countries soon as well. The smartphone is again characterised by a competitive price-performance ratio. Samsung promises a generous update policy for the smartphone. Although it is a budget device, it will get six years of updates. This includes not only security updates, but also six Android OS updates. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 15 with One UI 7.

Samsung Galaxy A07

The Samsung Galaxy A07 gets the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. There are configurations ranging between 4GB and 8GB of RAM with 64 to 256GB of storage. The smartphone offers IP54 certification and gets a 6.7-inch LCD display. This panel delivers a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. On the front is an 8-megapixel front camera with a 50MP main camera with 2MP depth sensor at the back. There is room for a memory card and a 3.5 millimetre jack for a headset. Besides Bluetooth 5.3, the device also offers WiFi 5GHz. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh with 25W charging. The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy A07 come out to 167.4 x 77.4 x 7.6 millimetres. Its weight is 184 grams.

For now, the smartphone has not (yet) been announced for the Netherlands and Belgium, nor for most other European countries. In Ukraine, the price starts at around 100 euros converted. The Galaxy A06 came to our country for around 150-170 euros. We expect such a price for the A07 as well.
