The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be the first set of devices to be updated to Android 16 with the brand's new skin; One UI 8. On Monday, Samsung shared that a large number of devices will be updated with the update, but no clear timeline was forthcoming. The manufacturer did reveal that after the S25 models, the S24 series will follow. When those devices will get the new version is unknown.

Still, some more information seems to be slowly but surely emerging. Indeed, the local branch of Samsung Brazil shared a timetable with precise dates. Although this is a different region, it seems that the dates may correspond to when the update may become available in Europe. However, all should go well with the rollout. If any unexpected bugs or issues crop up, the update may be withdrawn and have to wait for a fix.

Android 16 with One UI 8 shares a lot of minor improvements, such as in security. But there are also more visible innovations and improvements. These include more AI features, devices with larger screens get more display options, and Knox and Now Brief and Now Bar have been further enhanced.

Samsung Brazil shares the overview below. So keep in mind that there may be some slack with the European dates.
