Poco X8 Pro series makes its debut 17 March: here's what we expect

On 17 March, we can expect new devices from Poco. Xiaomi's subsidiary brand has sent out a teaser for the Poco X8 Pro series. The first details have also already leaked out.

Poco X8 Pro series on 17 March

On 17 March, Poco will hold an (online) announcement of its new Poco X8 series. It is expected to introduce two devices: the Poco X8 Pro and the Poco X8 Pro Max. Judging from the teaser, it promises to be a smartphone series that revolves around speed.

In the rumour circuit, the two smartphones have also passed by. Reportedly, the Poco X8 Pro will be a rebranding of the previously released Redmi Turbo 5, while the Turbo 5 Max will be named the Poco X8 Pro Ultra. The Poco X8 Pro will feature the Dimensity 8500 chipset, where the Pro Max will carry the Dimensity 9500s as its processor. This has already been confirmed by Poco, and are also the chipsets found in the aforementioned Poco models.

Redmi Turbo 5 Max

For the Poco X8 Pro, it will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature a 50-megapixel main camera. The device will reportedly get a 7560 mAh battery with support for 100W charging. The Poco X8 Pro Max comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display and a better 50-megapixel main camera, Both models get a 20-megapixel selfie lens. The Pro Max is said to feature a massive 8500 mAh battery with 100W charging.
