Poco M8 series announced
Recently came the new Poco F8 series, and now it is time for two new mid-range devices. The smartphone manufacturer is now coming out with the Poco M8 and the Poco M8 Pro. The two models should take the mid-range segment to the next level, with a particular focus on entertainment use on the smartphone. The Pro model also features a cooling system, so prolonged intensive use should not be a problem for the phone. We highlight the key features of the two smartphones below.
Poco M8
The Poco M8 offers a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 keeps things running, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. You can easily expand the memory by inserting a memory card. The Poco M8 gets a 50-megapixel main camera from the manufacturer, along with a 2-megapixel depth camera. The 20-megapixel front camera lets you take the selfies. A 5520 mAh battery is present, with support for 45W fast charging. The device offers an infrared sensor, has IP65 certification and a thin design of just 7.35 millimetres. In terms of colours, you can choose from the same colours as the Poco M8 Pro. The design is also pretty much the same, only the flash is in the bottom right corner, instead of the bottom left corner like the Pro.
Poco M8 Pro
The top model in the series is the Poco M8 Pro. This phone has an even bigger screen; 6.83 inches; a 1.5K AMOLED panel. There is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and 8/12GB of working memory. Storage comes out to 256GB/512GB. Again, we see a dual-camera: but with a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. Up front is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone features a large 6500 mAh silicon carbon battery with 100W fast charging. The smartphone offers IP68 certification, an infrared sensor and is available in silver, green and black.

The new Poco M8 models will be released soon. The Poco M8 Pro starts at a price of €349.90, while you can buy the Poco M8 from €269.90.
