OxygenOS 16 is on the way
OnePlus is working on a new version of its Android skin. Users will be updated with OxygenOS 16. This update is based on Android 16 and will be announced on 16 October. The message about this is shared by the manufacturer itself. The new software skin is referred to with the tagline "Intelligently Yours". The presumption is that OnePlus is adding the necessary AI features to the skin. This along with the new features from Android 16.
The OnePlus 15, which will be announced for the Chinese market later this month, will be the first smartphone to run on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 out of the box. Existing devices will also be updated with the new version. An official list is not shared, but we can give an indication of which devices will get the update to OxygenOS 16. We expect at least these models to get the update.
