The Find X9 Ultra's camera
It seems camera smartphones like the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 Ultra can expect considerable competition. This competition comes from Oppo, which will present the new Find X9 Ultra on 21 April. Ahead of the launch, Oppo is sharing more and more details about this camera-centric device.

The focus is clearly on the camera system. Indeed, the Find X9 Ultra will have four cameras, with a striking combination of sensors. These include a 200-megapixel main camera that Oppo says delivers performance on the level of a 1-inch sensor. You also get a 200-megapixel telephoto lens for portrait shots with 3x zoom. For those who want to zoom in even further, there is also a 50 megapixel periscope lens with 10x optical zoom, good for a focal length of around 230 mm. Finally, there is a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera for wider shots.
This combination makes the camera setup quite special, especially outside the Chinese market. While high-end Android devices there more often bet on powerful cameras, a setup with two 200MP sensors is still remarkable. As if that wasn't enough, Oppo is also working on additional accessories in the form of teleconverter lenses. With these, you can extend the camera's zoom range even further. Oppo is once again collaborating with Hasselblad.
We will get all the details on 21 April.
