Oppo Reno 14 presented
Oppo's Reno 14 is official. With the new device, the manufacturer aims to offer a stylish option in the upper mid-range segment. The manufacturer has put a lot of work into the phone's design, as it gets due attention in the announcement. The smartphone features the Iridescend Mermaid Design, a technology with twelve coating processes. This creates light refractions and a somewhat shimmering finish. The body consists of glass and an aluminium frame. Thereby, all three models come with IP69 certification.

What else gets attention is the Reno 14's camera. Oppo talks about AI Flash Photography. Among other things, by using multiple flashes, Oppo promises better photos while maintaining natural skin tones in low light. Several AI tools are also present, such as AI Livephoto 2.0 and an AI Editor. The Perfect Shot mode should ensure that from now on you won't have group photos where people are standing with their eyes closed.
The camera itself has a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. For taking selfies, there is a 50-megapixel front camera. The smartphone further offers a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The battery capacity comes out to 6000 mAh, which you can recharge with 80W. The screen is a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels. The refresh rate comes out to a maximum of 120Hz.

Oppo Reno 14 F and 14 FS
The Oppo Reno 14 F is a cheaper alternative, but has a similar design. The smartphone comes with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The difference between the Reno 14 F and Reno 14 FS is only the phone's memory. Other than that, the two models are similar. The Reno 14 F comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, where the Reno 14 FS has 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.
The smartphones offer a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with 2372 x 1080 pixels as resolution. There is also a 6000mAh battery which can be charged with 45W. On the back, there are three cameras. This is a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is a 32MP lens.
