OnePlus with giant battery
While we were already impressed by the huge battery in the high-end OnePlus 15, the Chinese manufacturer is now going one step further. In fact, the OnePlus Turbo 6V announced for the Chinese market features a 9000 mAh battery. This is a so-called silicon-carbon battery and thus has a higher energy density than the other types of batteries. And where a huge battery used to mean that the device got a lot thicker, that does not apply to this model. Because the new OnePlus phone is only 8.5 millimetres thick. The OnePlus phone has a similar size to other devices.
For now, the phone has not been announced for the Dutch market. Although a large group of devices announced by OnePlus remain for China only, it is quite possible that we will eventually come across such a gigantic battery in devices here.
