OnePlus: Android 16 and OxygenOS 16 on the way
Yesterday, we wrote about the big OxygenOS 16 update announced by the manufacturer. Even more focus on AI, more options for the lock screen and, above all, lots of speed improvements. The OnePlus 15 will be the first phone to launch with Android 16 and OxygenOS 16, but older models are not forgotten.
OnePlus has shared a schedule, with the periods when Android 16 with the new version of OxygenOS will become available.
Launch in November 2025
The first group of devices to receive OxygenOS 16 consists of the brand's latest flagships and tablets. These are the OnePlus 13, 13R, 13s, the OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, 12R, and the tablets OnePlus Pad 3 and Pad 2. These devices will get the update first.
December 2025
A month later, in December 2025, devices from last year's generation will follow. These will be the OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus 11R 5G, as well as the mid-range models OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE5, Nord 4 and Nord 3 5G.
Beginning 2026
The final phase will start in the first quarter of 2026. That's when the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, OnePlus Nord CE4, Nord CE4 Lite 5G, OnePlus Pad and Pad Lite, among others, will arrive.
