OnePlus has announced that a new tablet is on the way from the brand. Under the name OnePlus Pad 3, the manufacturer will release a powerful tablet in the premium segment, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
OnePlus Pad 3 on the way
OnePlus is coming out with a successor to the OnePlus Pad 2 released last year. We reviewed the tablet at length in our OnePlus Pad 2 review at the time. Now it is time for a successor, in the form of the OnePlus Pad 3. The new tablet will be officially announced soon, but a launch date has not yet been given by the brand. However, the manufacturer does reveal that the new OnePlus Pad 3 will go on sale from 5 June.
Many details are not yet shared. The brand does reveal that the tablet features the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which we know from, for example, the OnePlus 13 and other high-end phones. Furthermore, the Open Canvas functionality, known from the previous generation, has been refined to make it even more enjoyable. The feature allows for even better multitasking. Furthermore, the tablet works even better with recent OnePlus devices, which you can see, for example, in projecting the screen onto the other device, and it should also work well with Apple devices.
The OnePlus Pad 3 will be released in a Storm Blue colour, which is a soft shade of blue, the brand reports. As soon as more information is known, we will of course keep you updated. We suspect OnePlus will announce the tablet 5 June, after which it will be immediately available.
