OnePlus Nord 3 gets Android 16
A major update is being released for the OnePlus Nord 3. We get this from DroidApp reader Gerard. His smartphone has been allowed to receive the update to Android 16. The device, which was released in summer 2023, will be offered the new Android version with several extras. We see in the changelog that security update February 2026 is included.
OnePlus also promises performance improvements and there are several files. These include one about unlocking the screen with a password or fingerprint. An issue with Live Alerts, when opening the quick settings is also addressed with the update. Altogether, the update is 3.14GB in size. The rollout of the update is being done in phases. You will get a notification on your device when it is ready for your device.
