New details about OnePlus products
Earlier there was the OnePlus 15 announcement, but the manufacturer has more surprises this year. On 17 December, the curtain will be lifted on three products. These are a new smartphone called OnePlus 15R, a tablet called OnePlus Pad Go 2 and a smartwatch called OnePlus Watch Lite. Of the three different devices, the manufacturer has now shared more details.
OnePlus 15R
For the OnePlus 15R, OnePlus promises a camera that offers the technology of the OnePlus 15. This will be the manufacturer's Detailmax Engine, which we discussed at length in the OnePlus 15 review and in the OnePlus 15 camera comparison with other devices. Thus, Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst and Clear Night Engine will be present on the new device. Furthermore, it is already known that the device will appear with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset presented last week. There is also a new G2 WiFi chip and the screen is more responsive to touch. Furthermore, the device gets a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate for games.
OnePlus Pad Go 2
Placed in the mid-end segment, the new OnePlus Pad Go 2 gets a 12.1-inch screen with a 2.8K resolution. Thanks to the Open Canvas software, you can quickly multitask and split the screen into two, for example.
OnePlus Watch Lite
Then there is the new smartwatch; the OnePlus Watch Lite. This watch should offer a battery life of 10 days with normal use. It also offers 100 sports modes and extensive health functions with the 60-second Wellness Overview. This gives you insights into key health indicators, such as from the heart rate sensor and blood oxygen sensor, in a minute. There is a stainless steel case with improved scratch resistance and a thickness of 8.9 millimetres. The weight should come out to 35 grams. There is a 1.46-inch AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. The watch has cross-OS dual-phone pairing, which allows you to pair two phones at the same time, and thus get notifications from both. This also works with iPhone, though one Android device must always be connected.
