New information about OnePlus’s next high-end smartphone has leaked out. Thanks to rumours that have appeared online, there are reports of a sizeable screen and several changes to come.
OnePlus 15 in rumour circuit
The OnePlus 13 will be succeeded by a new model next year. Rather than the OnePlus 14, the Chinese manufacturer would reportedly opt for the OnePlus 15, the reason being due to the idea that the number '4' brings bad luck. While it did release a OnePlus Nord 4, the high-end smartphone would opt for a OnePlus 15. We already came across some information here and there about the phone; for instance, the brand would no longer partner with Hasselblad for the camera. Now we find out some more information.

OnePlus is said to provide the OnePlus 15 with a giant screen. Going by the rumours shared by an insider, the device will have a 7.0-inch screen. This makes the device one of the first smartphones with such a large screen. The current OnePlus 13 has a 6.82-inch screen. Despite the screen getting bigger, the resolution is said to go down slightly to 1.5K, representing 2160 x 1440 pixels. In doing so, it is reported that it will be a flat screen, and therefore not slightly flush at the sides, like the current flagship.
The Chinese brand's new smartphone would no longer be released with a round camera module, but will have a square-matrix design. In it are three 50-megapixel lenses. One of these will be a periscope lens. The OnePlus 13s would be proof that OnePlus is already experimenting with a different camera module.

Some information has also surfaced about the colour. The device would be released in the colour 'SuperBlack'. It would be 'very black'. Insiders who have seen a prototype report that it's a much better colour than expected, though of course this remains subjective.
Fast charging would come out to 100W on the OnePlus 15. We see the same with the Chinese manufacturer's current device. Incidentally, it remains to be seen when we will learn more about the OnePlus. Often, OnePlus devices are announced in China first, followed by global announcements at a later date.
