One UI 9 screenshots
The first images of One UI 9 have appeared online. Samsung's new skin comes over Android 17, and we will start seeing it back on Galaxy devices in a while. The Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra announced last month run on Android 16 with One UI 8.5. So now the company has launched One UI 9, and is getting some innovations. The screenshots are from the latest build, running on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Visually, One UI 9 seems to be getting many similarities to One UI 8.5. Still, we see some differences. In this version of One UI 9, Samsung has opted for slightly larger sliders for volume and brightness, in the quick settings. Changes are also noticeable in the settings. Here, 'Parental Controls' has been given a separate option, where it was previously found under 'Digital Wellbeing'. Yesterday, we already wrote that Samsung Browser, which is no longer called Samsung Internet, will be updated with new features.
At the moment, the information available is still somewhat limited. We have no doubt that more information will be revealed about the skin in the near future.
