Nothing Ear (3)
Nothing's new earbuds have been announced: the Nothing Ear (3). The new earbuds feature an eye-catching case that contains a microphone. You can activate it by pressing the 'talk' button located on the case. This should add to the call quality when talking on the phone in busy environments. The two microphones, called Super Mic, should be able to suppress ambient noise up to 95dB.

If you use the Nothing Ear (3) in combination with a Nothing smartphone, you can use the Talk button to create voice memos, where spoken word can be converted into text. The earbuds themselves also have three microphones each. Another feature is a sensor that can pick up vibrations in the jawbone and ear canal. This should make it possible to accurately record speech and wind noise would be reduced by 25dB, the brand claims. The earbuds offer ANC up to 45dB and adjust every 600 milliseconds, according to the environment.
For the Ear (3), Nothing has opted for metal accents and a transparent case. The charging case is made of recycled aluminium. On a charge, it should offer up to 10 hours of listening pleasure, and 38 hours in total with the charging case. The earbuds can handle Google Fast Pair and the Nothing X app lets you customise controls.
The earbuds are IP54 certified and come to market in white and black for €179. Sales start on 8 October.
