Google Nano Banana Pro: creating even more realistic AI images

This week, Google presented the new Gemini 3, but development around AI is not standing still. Now the company is coming out with Nano Banana Pro. It makes making AI-generated images even more realistic.

Nano Banana Pro

Under the name Nano Banana Pro, Google is bringing new AI improvements to users. Nano Banana already allowed you to take pictures, as you know from ChatGPT, but a new version brings further improvements. Google presents Nano Banana Pro. It will, for instance, allow you to put text in pictures. You could already add this as a command, but it often went wrong. AI couldn't handle texts properly until now. Nano Banana Pro should solve this problem. Also, the tool can handle different fonts.

According to Google, Nano Banana Pro is also capable of creating an infographic, based on supplied information. Also, it says it can use "real-world knowledge". For example, the AI tool can also do its own search through Google, taking the weather forecast into account when creating images. It can also turn a recipe into a picture, as shared by Google below.

More complex things also no longer have to be a problem when creating AI images. For instance, users can add up to 14 images to combine elements in a picture. It can also handle up to five people. Google is further working on editing features, which allow you to apply colour corrections or change the time of day or night to a picture. You can also work with bokeh, blurring the background and focusing on the subject.

In the Gemini app, you can now use Nano Banana Pro. If you don't have a subscription, the number of images you can generate is limited. Those with Google AI can use the tool to create more images. We created the picture in this article using AI, and the effect is fascinatingly good. The fleet number of the bus is correct, the registration number is a bit trickier. The text has been tweaked nicely, and work has been done on driving on the left in London, as has the placement of the doors and the reflection.

This week, Gemini 3 was announced by Google, with AI getting even better.
