Moopmoop is smart trip planner with Tripweather from maker Weerplaza

Infoplaza, the company behind weather apps such as Weeronline and Weerplaza, has released a new application. Moopmoop lets you use a smart, multi-modal journey planner from door-to-door. You can also use the app yourself.

Moopmoop

A smart journey planner for planning your journey from door to door. This is possible with several apps, with Google Maps being the main app, of course. Infoplaza is the party that has several weather apps under its umbrella. Think Buienalarm, Weerplaza and Weeronline. This is now joined by Moopmoop. It is a smart, multi-modal journey planner that takes into account different modes of transport.

Moopmoop

So it should be a smart journey planner. Not only can you plan a route by train and bus, but also by, for example, shared bicycles and shared scooters. Through the m.planner platform, the best travel options should be presented to you. The personal profile is stored locally and you can exclude certain modalities, for example if you do not have a driving licence. Moopmoop's principles are relevant advice, clear choices and quick results, the company promises.

When planning your trip, you can use Tripweather, a feature that shows the weather forecast during your trip. Think precipitation and wind forecast. This uses information from Weeronline and Buienalarm. Among others, we tested the Weeronline (and Weerplaza) app extensively in our weather app test. Trip Editor lets you create, share and import trips.

Moopmoop app

The app can now be downloaded as a beta version. So in the coming time, the functionality will be further tested, expanded and you as a user can share your feedback. Among other things, an Apple iOS app is in the pipeline, but work is also underway on using your own bike on the trip, sharing systems Check and Felyx are being added and you can use full shared mobility without public transport. You can download the app from the Google Play Store via the button below.
