LinkedIn is going to use your data for AI
Users with a LinkedIn profile are being urged to disable having your personal data used for training AI. Through an email, LinkedIn members are being alerted to the fact that their data will be used for artificial intelligence training. In the same email, users are also made aware that this can be turned off. The Dutch Personal Data Authority is now calling on users to do the same. The regulator says it has "grave concerns" about LinkedIn's plans.

Once data is in the grinder of the AI model, users no longer have control over what happens to the data. Until 3 November, users have the option to uncheck the setting to allow their user data to be used for training AI. You can do this in two ways; through the settings in the LinkedIn app, or through a specific setting. Through your personal settings, you can turn this off. By default, the option is enabled.
It would involve public content such as posts, articles and comments, as well as profile information. Think of your name, photo, work experience, education, jobs and locations.
