Google unveils Android 16 statue that is actually carousel

Google is known for unveiling new statues whenever a new Android version is released. That has now also happened with Android 16, and what we see is a cool carousel in the Material 3 Expressive style.

Android 16 statue

Every year, a new statue is unveiled to unveil a new Android version. You can find this statue at Google's headquarters, located in Mountain View. Android 16 is celebrated with a statue of the famous Android mascot, in a carousel. However, this is not just any carousel. The mini carousel has the shapes of Material 3 Expressive. We will come across this new design on Android 16 devices, such as the Pixel 10 series. We have more images and information about it for you in the Pixel 10 Pro XL review.

What a fun day! We're still buzzing from the Android 16 launch, celebrating with a new statue that puts a spin on the Material 3 Expressive design and celebrates the power of AI.
