Google Play system update November 2025: this is new

Google releases the Google Play system update every month. This update becomes available alongside the security update. Details of the November Google Play system update are now available.

November's Google Play update

A new Google Play System update is ready for Android. Although the rollout can usually take several weeks (sometimes even longer), the update brings several new features and improvements for Android. These types of updates are separate from security updates and other Android updates, we wrote in the Update Guide, and will be rolled out on a device-by-device basis over the coming period.

In the changelog of the November Google Play update, we see that several improvements are being rolled out. Among others, there are improvements around health and fitness, but we also see fixes for account management, there are improvements for the Wallet and attention has also been paid to WebView and several other things. The changelog with the improvements, we put down for you below.

Google Play Store v49.0 (24-11-2025)
