December's Google Play update
In the DroidApp Update Guide, we discuss the various updates you can expect for your Android device. These include not only security updates and Android OS updates being rolled out, but you can also expect Google Play updates. We wrote on Monday that Samsung devices do have issues with the rollout of this update. For several models, distribution of the December Google Play system update has now started. The rollout does usually take a bit longer.
Changelog
The December security update was released earlier, but the December Google Play system update brings yet other improvements. The changelog of this update reports the necessary improvements. We've put down that list of changes for you below.

Rollout
Google has kicked off the rollout of the update. But it may really take some time before your Android device is offered this update. You can check if you can download it yourself by following these steps. Go to Settings > System > Software updates > Google Play system update.
