Google Play Games officially for Windows
On supporting computers running Microsoft Windows, it is now possible to really get started playing Android games. Google has officially released Google Play Games for Windows. The service, which also works in the Netherlands and Belgium gives access to more than 200,000 games. To play them, a special launcher needs to be downloaded from the Play Games website.
In recent months and years, Google has been testing the platform heavily. In 2023, the beta was released. To use Google Play Games on your Windows, your PC should have at least Windows 10, an SSD with at least 10GB of free storage, 8GB of RAM, an Intel UHD630 GPU (or similar) and 4 CPU cores. In addition, hardware virtualisation should be enabled.
