Annual review of Google Photos
For lovers of annual summaries, there is good news. If you use the Google Photos app on your smartphone or tablet, you will get a yearly recap through that app as well. Through this recap, you get a comprehensive overview with statistics and the images themselves. In recent times, several lists have already come along, including from Spotify Wrapped.

The annual overview of Google Photos can be found directly in the app, at the top of the screen. In doing so, a notification notifies you that you can view your personal annual review. You will then see the most photographed people or pets first, with a selection of photos of them. This is followed by places around the world you have photographed and a selection of videos you have made. A timeline then gives a quick overview of what you did in which month, followed by some other highlights.
At the end, you can choose to share parts of your Google Photos annual review. So you can share your full retrospective, but also the number of photos you took, your most important people, key locations, or just highlights in general.
The annual review in Google Photos is now available in the app.
