Live video sharing with control room
With the new feature 'Android Emergency Live Video', Android users should be able to share live camera footage from the smartphone, with the emergency response centre. When you call the emergency number, the dispatcher can send a request to the device to share a video. This may be in a situation where it can be useful, and that it is safe to do so. The video can help assess the situation and provide appropriate help.

Google says the following about this;
In an emergency, every second counts. But it can be difficult to describe exactly what is happening, especially if you are stressed or in danger. Whether it's a car accident, a medical emergency or a fast-moving forest fire, it can be crucial if emergency workers can see the situation clearly.
When making a request, users can decide whether to share camera footage. Upon acceptance, the video picture-in-picture (as an additional window) is opened. The user can stop sharing at any time. There are also additional options such as turning on the torch or switching to the front camera.
The option will be available for Android 8 and above, in the US. The service will also be released as an app in select regions in Germany and Mexico.
