On 20 August, Google will have a new announcement with several products. About a week later, the new devices should be in shops, but that does not seem to be the case for all products. Several products are not coming until October.
Some products delayed
A new edition of the Made by Google event is scheduled for 20 August. On this date, Google will presumably showcase the new Pixel 10 series, the new Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a. In recent times, we have seen the requisite rumours and reports passing by. Now, a new post joins them. It is about the availability of products. Google is reportedly going to put the new products in shops on 28 August. However, this is not going to be true for all products, according to the usually well-informed Winfuture.

The German source reports that some products will not find their way to shops until October. These would be the foldable ones; the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the Pixel Watch 4 smartwatch and the Pixel Buds 2a earbuds. Due to problems in the supply chain, Google would only put the new products in shops from 9 October. It could also be related to trade war between the US and other countries. Rather, Google is said to be looking at moving production to other countries. Currently, Pixel phones are produced in Vietnam, but the company is said to be looking at manufacturing in India.
Interestingly, different timelines are now changing. After all, major rival Apple has its announcement in September and is likely to show the iPhone 17 Air and the new Apple Watch. These will then be available earlier than Google's. The other Pixel 10 models should be available from August 28, though.
