Google arrives with Find Hub and more options for tags

Google has announced the Find Hub. With this name, there is a successor to the service ‘Find My Device’. In the new app, you will find more options for tracking your devices.

Google Find Hub

The Google Find Hub is the successor to 'Find My Device' and is no longer just for tracking your device, but also for other devices. During Google's announcement, the company showed travel cases, for example, which have a built-in tag. Also, it should be possible to find people with the app. Support for satellite connectivity is coming later this year. Thanks to UltraWideBand support, you can also accurately navigate to the tag's location. Among others, the Moto Tag will start supporting this.

Interestingly, another improvement we are going to see reflected in the Google Find Hub. There will be collaboration with airlines. Google is working with them to make it easier to find lost luggage. It should become possible to share the location of your Bluetooth tracking tag with an airline, which should greatly improve the retrieval of your luggage. First to be supported are airlines Singapore Airlines, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia and Cathay Pacific.
