Material 3 Expressive for Pixel Camera
If you use the camera on your Pixel, then you take photos with the Pixel Camera app. A new update is now being distributed for this application. With the latest version available for download, it features a new design; it is Material 3 Expressive, which was announced with Android 16. In recent times, several Google apps have already been given the new design, so now the camera app is following suit.
Old - New
The new interface was previously introduced on the Pixel 10 models. Now it is the turn of the previously released Pixel devices. The record button has been revamped with a transparent ring, some different shapes can be seen and the interface has been updated in terms of font size and shortcuts. Some icons with dynamic colours have also been reduced. Scattered throughout the application, you can see the changes.
Old - New
The update for the Pixel Camera app is being rolled out via the Google Play Store. It may take a while until everyone finds it in the list of updates.
