New G logo
Google is rolling out a new 'G' logo for its services. We will start seeing this new icon in various places in both Android, and other Google services. The new icon features a gradient in which the four colours of the familiar Google logo blend together. Until now, the logo has been used with the colours in separate blocks. Slowly but surely, the new logo is becoming more widespread. Ten years ago, Google came up with the current logo.
In an announcement from the brand, Google let it be known that the new 'G' logo represents everything about Google. Both the brand and the company, and it reflects Google's evolution into the AI era. According to Google, the spillover in colours should "symbolise the wave of AI-driven innovation and creative energy in its products and technology". In doing so, it did aim to stay true to Google's four colours. In the coming months, the new logo will make its appearance everywhere.
