OnePlus 3T
The reason we're highlighting another OnePlus device today has to do with the latest news. Many factors and rumours indicate that OnePlus is calling it a day in Europe. The parent company's focus is shifting more towards Oppo. The manufacturer is still keeping its lips sealed.

We have covered its models in previous editions of our 'Forgotten' section, including the OnePlus One, the OnePlus 2 and also the OnePlus X. We have also already included the OnePlus 3 in the review, and today we look at the OnePlus 3T. Because this device was incredibly popular, much more popular than many other models.
At the end of 2016, the OnePlus 3T was released, this was less than half a year after the release of the OnePlus 3. It was truly a flagship killer, with the high-end processor of the time; the Snapdragon 821. With 6GB of RAM, the device had massive RAM. Storage came out at 64GB or 128GB.
The OnePlus 3T featured both a 16-megapixel front camera and 16-megapixel rear camera. There was a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080p Full-HD resolution. Along with that, there was a 3400 mAh battery and there was Dash Charge, which was the name for lightning-fast charging. With a thin and sleek design, and an aluminium unibody, the OnePlus 3T struck quite a chord. Thereby, OxygenOS was very similar to Stock Android at the time, which was also very well received by the public. The 3T seriously put OnePlus on the map. This was partly due to the price of the device: 439 euros.

Although the OnePlus 3T was well-received, it couldn't compete with major rivals Apple and Samsung. Back then, besides the OnePlus 3T, you could also opt for a Samsung Galaxy S7 or iPhone 7. Those, in turn, were a lot more expensive. The OnePlus came with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and was kept up to and including Android 9.0 Pie. That update appeared at the end of 2019.
