Sony Ericsson Txt Pro
No, not a new Xperia, but a 'regular' Sony Ericsson Txt Pro. Although this phone was reminiscent of a smartphone in design, it was not directly so. Measuring 93 x 52 x 18 millimetres, the device was very compact.

The arrival of the Sony Ericsson Txt Pro in 2011 was notable. After all, the Xperia X10 was released in 2010, along with, for example, the compact Xperia X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro. These were true Android smartphones, though, and offered considerably more. In doing so, there was a price difference of around 120 euros. We also saw the four-corner controls on this phone.
On board the Sony Ericsson Txt Pro was a 3.0-inch screen with a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels. The rear camera counted 3.2 megapixels. There was 64MB of working memory, 100MB of storage. You could expand this memory with a memory card. There was also a 1000mAh battery.

Despite the fact that the Sony Ericsson Txt Pro was not a smartphone, the device did have enough means to look like one. For instance, the phone had a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. If you no longer needed it, you could slide it back under the device. In addition, the phone was entirely focused on sending updates via social networks. You could access Facebook and Twitter via the Friends app.
Sony Ericsson also released the Txt Pro in the Netherlands. The phone went over the counter for around €150. In the video below, you can see how the interface works with some features. Do you long for a time with such compact devices?
