Nokia 7260
In our 'The forgotten phone' section today, we discuss a forgotten Nokia phone: the Nokia 7260. This phone was all about fashion and lifestyle, just like the other models in Nokia's 7xxx series. We also saw this, for example, in the form of the Nokia 7280, which was also seen as the lipstick phone. The Nokia 7260 had the so-called N-Gage design and stood out for its rather striking appearance.

Nokia equipped the Nokia 7260 with a 1.6-inch screen with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. Below it was the joystick for scrolling through menus. The call button and the familiar other keys as we are used to from Nokia's were also found on this phone. For taking photos, the 7260 offered a 0.3-megapixel VGA camera.

In terms of functionality, the phone did not offer a whole lot of exciting features. For instance, the Nokia did not offer Bluetooth, but it did offer infrared. An FM radio was present, including some games with Backgammon and Glamour Pinball. Snake did not come on the device. Under the back cover, the Nokia 7260 featured a 760 mAh battery, which you could still swap yourself. Measuring 105 x 45 x 18 millimetres, the device was quite thick, but in that the device was not alone around that time. The weight of the Nokia 7260 came out to 92 grams.
