Nokia 6280
We have already discussed many phones and smartphones on DroidApp, in our 'Forgotten' section. Today, a Nokia device joins them. The Nokia 6280 appeared on the market in late 2005, making it about 20 years old. The slider phone was 21 millimetres thick and had a recognisable Nokia design. On the 'top section' sat the 2.2-inch screen (320 x 240 pixels) with the familiar Nokia speed dial and call buttons underneath, along with the navigation key. Once slid open, the numeric keypad appeared there through which you could type your messages via the old T9 input (remember it?). Above the screen was a VGA camera, while at the back was a 2 megapixel camera.

The Nokia 6280 offered 3G and UMTS support and had a few MB of storage. This could be expanded with a memory card. A 64MB card was included in many countries. Hip was the support for both Bluetooth and Infrared. In terms of extra features, the phone was equipped with an FM radio, MP3 player and several games like Snake.
Completely flawless was not the Finns' phone. Initially, the device suffered from problems among a group of users. This resulted in devices crashing or sometimes dropping out. Later updates tackled that problem. The Nokia 6280 was the successor to the Nokia 6270, which offered stereo speakers but lacked 3G support.
