Nokia 3530
Finnish company Nokia released an awful lot of handsets. The Nokia 3310, Nokia 1100 and several other devices were phones you instantly recognised. With one phone you had more memories than the other model, but what about the Nokia 3530? It was not exactly a device that many people immediately think of when they hear the brand 'Nokia'. The device appeared in 2002, with the Nokia 3510 as its twin brother.

Surely the most interesting thing about this device, was its casing. The Nokia 3530 featured a body made of transparent plastic. Behind it were lights. This could light up when a call came in, or when an SMS arrived on the device. The design was quite playful, yet typical Nokia. This included the keyboard with two large circles, which visually gave it a bit more embellishment. The familiar shortcut keys were once again found below the screen on this device.
The Finns supplied the device with a 1.5-inch display, which delivered a resolution of 96 x 65 pixels. This along with a few kB of storage, a 1000 mAh battery and covers that you could replace yourself. The Nokia 3530 measured 118 x 50 millimetres and a hefty thickness of 17 millimetres. The phone's weight came to 106 grams. The device was also released in the Netherlands.
