A new month, a new update. Google has released a new security patch for Android. May's latest security update sees at least 50 vulnerabilities addressed.
Android security update May
The new security update for Android has been released by Google. This means that in the coming time, manufacturers can get back to work, optimising the update for their devices. Every month, a new security patch is made available for Android. This month, 50 vulnerabilities are announced to be fixed with this update.

Not every vulnerability is for every device. For instance, there are distinctions between the technical characteristics of a device, among others, and there may be differences in the chipset or Android version used. Manufacturers usually also add patches of their own, specifically for their own issues, for example in apps or components from the manufacturer itself.
